
Imagine your Kids A-Z avatar visits Hong Kong for the very first time. You become its tour guide! Where do you take your avatar – the Peak, night markets, heritage trails, outlying islands, local schools, or your favourite neighbourhood spots? Describe the places you visit, the food you eat, the people you meet, and what your avatar learns about Hong Kong’s culture. Unleash your imagination and embark on an amazing journey together!
Please write “My Avatar Discovers Hong Kong” as the topic, and submit it with your Kids A-Z avatar picture.
- Lower Primary (Grade 1-3), the word limit is 50 – 150 words
- Upper Primary (Grade 4-6), the word limit is 80 – 200 words
Objectives:
- Inspire students to express unique observations of Hong Kong through creative writing
- Strengthen storytelling skills and a love for reading
- Encourage cultural exploration and identity thinking
- Build confidence in sharing local stories

Judges
From Learning A-Z Professional Development Team, USA. The award assessment will be based on spellings, punctuation, grammar accuracy, sentence fluency and overall presentation of the student’s writing as well as the Avatar design.
