The application deadline is February 28, 2026, and the funding is expected to be disbursed on June 30, 2026. The funding is valid until the end of the 2027/28 academic year. Schools are advised to plan ahead and allow ample time to prepare their applications.

All publicly-funded schools (including government, aided, DSS, and special schools) are eligible.
It is a one-off grant scheme launched by the EDB via the Quality Education Fund, providing up to HK$500,000 per publicly-funded school to promote the use of AI in enhancing teaching quality. The application deadline is Feb 28, 2026.
