🏆 Learning A-Z Writing Competition 2026: Winner List Announced!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce the winners of the 2026 Learning A-Z Writing Competition!
This year’s theme, “My Avatar Discovers Hong Kong,” invited students to become local tour guides for their custom Kids A-Z avatars. From riding the Peak Tram and exploring Tai O stilt houses to tasting local delicacies at neighborhood Cha Chaan Tengs, our young writers took their digital partners on unforgettable journeys across our beautiful city.
The competition successfully inspired students to express their unique observations of Hong Kong, strengthen their creative storytelling skills, and build confidence in sharing local cultural stories.
🌟 2026 Competition Highlights
We were blown away by the incredible response and the vivid imagination shown by students across the city.
- 4,000+ Submissions from over 40 schools participated.
- The Criteria: Our judges from the Learning A-Z international team meticulously reviewed each entry, looking for creative storytelling, strong cultural exploration, and unique reflections on Hong Kong’s identity.
Our judges noted that this year’s submissions went far beyond simple sightseeing lists. Students truly integrated their avatars’ unique personalities into the real world—whether it was a robot avatar refilling its “energy bar” with shrimp dumplings, a superhero saving a runaway balloon at a night market, or a space alien meeting a local school principal!
We highly applaud all participants for making this year’s competition so vibrant and meaningful.
